POPIA notice

This notice explains how ConvertX, a SaaS product of Digital 4 Jesus (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us"), handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible
For enquiries made on this site, the responsible party is Digital 4 Jesus (Pty) Ltd, registration 2017/182901/07, the company behind ConvertX. Where ConvertX processes enquiries for a client business, that business is the responsible party and ConvertX acts as its operator under a written operator agreement.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: first name, business name, WhatsApp number and email.
- Information about your enquiry, including the figures you enter in the calculator and the page you arrived from.
- Marketing attribution data such as the advertising click identifier and campaign source, so the business knows which advert reached you.
Why we use it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, book and remind you of appointments, follow up about the service you asked about, and measure which advertising brought you to us, including reporting conversions to Google and Meta. We do not sell your information.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) measurement tags. Once active, they set cookies (such as _gcl_aw, _fbp and _fbc) and record page views and form submissions so we can see which adverts work. When you book an audit we also share a hashed version of your email address and phone number with Google for conversion measurement; hashing happens in your browser before anything is sent, so Google never receives the readable values. Your browser's local storage holds your calculator inputs and the advertising click identifiers from the page you arrived on. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time without losing access to this site.
Who we share it with
Your enquiry details are processed by our customer relationship system, HighLevel Inc. (LeadConnector, United States), our website host, and the messaging platforms used to reply to you, including WhatsApp. Advertising measurement data is shared with Google and Meta as described above. We do not sell your information to anyone.
Transfers outside South Africa
Some of these providers store information outside South Africa, including in the United States and the European Union. We only use providers that commit to protecting personal information to standards consistent with POPIA, and we transfer only what is needed for the purposes described in this notice.
WhatsApp and automated messages
Replies may be sent by the ConvertX assistant. It identifies itself, and a person takes over the moment one is needed. Every message includes a way to opt out, and we stop messaging as soon as you ask.
Who we contact
We only contact people who gave a business their details. If you did not provide your details, or you want them removed, contact us using the details below and we will act promptly.
Your rights
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Keeping it safe
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purpose above or as the law requires.
